Gallery manager Julie Rainow welcomes you to the world of Stokers Siding Pottery.

The Gallery carries functional and decorative pieces by resident potter Bob Connery and orders can be placed for dinner sets and other special items.

There is also a wide range of other pottery, glass, jewellery, paintings, Zyladrums, cards and other craft items from the best of local artists.

In addition to stoneware and porcelain pieces, Bob Connery also produces spectacular Reduced Lustre work for which he is gaining an international reputation, especially in Japan.

 

Bob Has been forgng links with Japan. In 2002 he held an exhibition in Fukuoka and was invited to exhibit again in June 2003.

 

 

 

 

The gallery and pottery are housed in an historic building (c. 1921) at the centre of the idyllic village of Stokers Siding, just 40 minutes north of Byron Bay, 2km off the Tweed Valley way on a scenic, sealed route to Mt Warning. The building is wheel chair accessible.

Also of interest "the Story of the Kombi Nation," a handwritten book by kombi-owners visiting the VW specialist next door.

A General Store/Post Office with verandah tea room is situated in the old railway station opposite the pottery and children's park, offering a range of meals, snacks, coffee, soft drinks and Devonshire Teas.
