BURRINGBAR

One of the many Aboriginal place names in the region, Burringbar is named for a specialised type of boomerang used as a striking stick. Best known for the rather winding road around the range of the same name, the village is a quiet stop-off point with general store, craft and petrol available, along with roadside fruit stalls. A pretty park with an historic monument marks the centre of the town.
